They live!

John Carpenter´s bizarre "They Live" from 1988 is now scheduled for a remake.

Next to it´s iconic, "eye-opening" messages, Carpenter has to be credited with his choice for the main character: A mullet wearing pro-wrestler who plays a mullet wearing construction worker relies on his fists when he finds out that our reality is actually nothing more than a series of subliminal messages, set up by aliens who control mankind this way.

The remake should be in theaters in 2011 and John Carpenter is billed as Executive Producer
