Detroit "low-brow" artist Glenn Barr´s pictures look like delirious dreams of a heterosexual William S. Burroughs, whose "Interzone" is located somewhere between the Mad-Magazine office and a Ren & Stimpy cartoon.
It turns out that he was actually working for both of them!
His "Betty (bored and horny)" (top picture) shares the same aesthetics and humour as my beloved Moritz Rrr.
See more of Barr´s work on his website, where his books can also be ordered.
