Super Ape

I have seen "Ciao Maschio/Bye Bye Monkey" only once on TV when I was still in school. This strange film by the great Marco Ferreri has one of the most memorable scenes of 1970s cinema. Seeing the "dead" King Kong prop of the 1976 re-make and placing it on a beach in front of the looming World Trade Center was impressive and unforgettable.
